For this project we have to pick a theme, and our theme are unity and harmony. Unity and harmony means that where people connect or unite whether their from different countries or race. There's a lot of place where people gather round and connect. So I choose FOM food court. I choose this location because there's many student gather here to eat and do their homework / assignments.

From these pictures above you can see the elements and principle of design from the architecture buildings. Lines on the railings are well arranged from rows to columns. The windows from the FIT building are well arranged to, in the principle of design it's called "Repetition". You can also see the deep space in the first picture and atmospheric space in the 4th picture. In the 3rd picture you can see the chairs and the tables are arranged nicely.
After I identified all the elements and principles of design, I started to find my position for my camera to be placed. I placed my camera above level the near the stairs location so that you can see the whole area. After capturing my images, I stitched them using Autodesk Stitcher. I found a lot of mistakes and ghosts during my first attempt to render. For the hotspots I choose the FIT building near the FOM food court. When you click it, it will bring you to FIT website (http://fit.mmu.edu.my/main/). The lesson I learned from this is that I must choose a good lighting or bright location so that it will stitch nicely and choose a good spot where you can see the elements and principle of design in one angle.

We have picked Unity and Harmony for our project so, for my subject matter I choose MMU Stadium. This because people gathers here to excercise with their friends and compete with their college.
For element of design design. We could see the line of the tracks. Other than that we could see the texture of the grass and the rubber floor.
For the principle of design, we could see the repetition of the line.
The process.
I went to take pictures of the stadium at evening since I couldn't go at the morning. I was lucky that people hasn't start doing activities at the stadium yet. I stitch the pictures using the Autodesk Sticther.
Problem made and lesson learned
Luckily I don't much problem to stitch the pictures but I do have problem inserting the hotspot and audio. I learned that I could use flash to stitch the pictures and put the hotspot and audio better but I don't have enough time to do it. Other than that, I should manage my time better and should understand my assignment better.

Explanation about the project- individual. The Grand Hall
For this QtVR project I choose the grand hall as my QtVR spot. Our themes are unity and harmony. At first, I wasn't sure about our group's theme but I already took the pictures at The Grand Hall and wondered if it fits with my group member's picture regarding the themes and location. Thou after consulted during week 3, my lecturer and classmates said that
it has connection with my other group member's pictures and its still in theme. The elements spotted on The Grand Hall are;shape, size, stability and repetition. The we
ather was great during the time I make the shooting. I use a fast shutter speed to capture the images for the lighting is bright and not to shadowy. I tried to shoot near the stairs of The Grand Hall but failed due to reflections of me that can be seen from the mirror, so I've to change the spot. After that, stitching the images wasn't that bad at all thou there are some ghost images spotted but hardly seen when converted to QtVR. So far mistakes that I've learned is that lighting is very important during the shooting, the location and angle must be well-planned to avoid future mistakes that might be hard to spot during the shooting process.
Images after stitched

Well, the reason why I choose The Grand Hall is because of its architectural shape of a modern building and its size. We can tell how the size of The Grand Hall by just looking at it as it holds many events where people gathered and also holds as examination hall. Besides that, directions coming from The Grand Hall are very vertical looking which give us a feeling of balanced/stability. Also The Grand Hall has this pole which is repetition with variation.

Explanation about this project
For this project we have to make a 360' QtVR. The themes are unity and harmony. We chose these themes because we want to show that MMU is full of multiracial students and we all are unite regardless of where we come from. To find a place where unity and harmony happens, we picked 4 places, they are, MMU's mosque, The Grand Hall, MMU's Stadium, and FOE Food Court. These 4 places is where all the students gather together. We took the pictures from different angles so that you can see that location clearer.
All of our 4 locations have same characteristic, that is architecture. All of our locations are involves buildings. You can see the elements and principle of design from the buildings or the locations. You can also see different type of spaces, there are deep and atmospheric space in our project.
